今週分 노래를 紹介합니다.

[Jesus is mine]

이 노래는 Gospel作曲家인 Wally Fowler(1917~1994)]의 作品인데 發表年度는 未詳입니다. 그는 Oak Ridge Quartet을 創團도 했는데 이 group은 오늘날 Oak Ridge Boys 라는 人氣 country music group이 되었읍니다. 歌詞를 보니 굳건한 信仰心이 나타나있고 melody도 주님 안에서 기뻐하는 느낌이 充滿합니다. 노래는 Inspirations (1964년 創團된 Sothern Gospel group)가 불렀읍니다.

And I am living so my life for Jesus will shine;

天使’밴드(or 樂團)’와 함께 길을 가며, 나는 기뻐하고 노래 부르네

There is no sorrow in my heart for Jesus is mine.

내 마음 속에 슬픔이 없네, 왜냐면 예수님은 내 주님이시니까

Shouting and praising, voices up raising glory divine.

외치고 讚美하면서, 목소리들을 높여 神聖한 榮光을 들어올리면서

Going to glory, telling the story, Jesus is mine;

榮光의 땅으로 가면서, 예수님은 내 주님이시라는 얘기도 하면서

Heading for Heaven, sins all forgiven, I can't repine,

天堂으로 向해 가면서, 내 모든 罪들이 容恕되었으니 나는 不平을 할 수 없네

There is such gladness, and there's no sadness, glory light shines;

그런 기쁨이 있고, 슬픔이란 없네, 榮光의 빛이 빛나네

Singing and shouting, never more doubting, love so divine,

노래하고 외치면서, 그렇게 神聖한 사랑을 絶對로 더 以上 疑心하지 않으면서

Marching with winners, calling the sinners, Jesus is mine.

勝利者들과 行進하면서, 罪人들에게 예수님은 내 주님이시라고 말하면서

나는 天堂의 寶物들을 받았네, 나는 不平하지 않으리

Homeward I'm going, happy in knowing, Jesus is mine.

本鄕으로 向해 가면서, 예수님은 내 주님이시라는 것을 알고 즐거워하며

Someday my labors will be over and I will reach that happy shore,

Where with friends and loved ones I on manna will dine.

언젠가 내 苦生은 끝나고 나는 벗들 그리고 사랑하는 사람들과 

‘天上 食事(or 만나 食事)’를 하게 될 저 즐거운 ‘天邊가(or 天堂 江邊)’에 닿으리

I will forget my earthly trials, as I join in that heav'nly band,

내가 天上 樂團에 同參할 때, 나는 이 땅에서의 내 (모든) 試鍊들을 잊으리
