人生에서 成功과 失敗는 共存하는 것이겠읍니다만 成功時의 信仰心과 失敗時의 信仰心은 다르다고 이 聖歌는 노래합니다. 주님을 깊이 알지 못하면 나올 수 없는 表現이라고 생각합니다.

Though success and fail coexist in our life, this sacred song sings that the faith in success and that in failure are different. I think that this kind of ｅxpression cannot be made, unless there is a deep contemplation of Jesus Christ our Lord.

狀況이 惡化될 때, 그분께서는 그 狀況을 正常化시키실 것이고
And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times
好時節의 하느님과 逆境時의 하느님께서는 如前히 같은 분이세요

낮의 하느님과 밤의 하느님께서는 如前히 같은 분이세요
You talk of faith when you’re up on the mountain
당신은 山 위에 있을 때 믿음을 言及하지만
But the talk comes so easy, when life’s at its best
당신의 ‘人生(or 삶)이’ 잘 풀릴 때, 그런 言及은 정말로 쉽게 나와요
Now it’s down in the valleys, trials and temptations
당신의 ‘人生(or 삶)이’ 試鍊과 誘惑으로 點綴(점철)된 저 溪谷 밑에
있네요
That’s where your faith is really put to the test
