1)In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, David sent Joab out with the king's men and the whole Israelite army. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem.
2)One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful,
3)and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, "Isn't this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite?"
4)Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (She had purified herself from her uncleanness.) Then she went back home.
5)The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, "I am pregnant."

On the meaning of Hallelujah:
할렐루야曲의 뜻

Finally there's no conflict between things, finally everything is reconciled - but not where we live. This world is full of conflicts and full of things that cannot be reconciled, but there are moments when we can transcend the dualistic system and reconcile and embrace the whole mess and that's what I mean by 'Hallelujah'.
結論的으로 말해서 事物들 사이에 葛藤은 없어요, 結論的으로 말해서 모든 것들은 調和되기 마련이지만 우리들이 살고 있는 곳에서 그렇지 못 해요. 이 世上은 調和될 수 없는 葛藤들과 事物들로 가득 차 있으나 우리들은 二元論的 體系를 超越해서 全體的인 混沌을 調和 및 包容할 수 있는 瞬間들이 있어요. 바로 그것이 제가‘할렐루야’曲에서 나타내는 뜻입니다.
