1.   내 영혼아, 야훼를 찬미하여라. 속으로부터 그 거룩한 이름을 찬미하여라.
2.   내 영혼아, 야훼를 찬미하여라. 베푸신 모든 은덕 잊지 마라.
3.   네 모든 죄를 용서하시고 네 모든 병을 고쳐주신다.
4.   네 목숨을 구렁에서 건져주시고 사랑과 자비의 관을 씌워주신다.
5.   네 인생에 복을 가득 채워주시어 독수리 같은 젊음을 되찾아주신다.    
    6.   야훼께서는 정의를 펴시고 모든 억눌린 자들의 권리를 찾아주신다.
7.   모세에게 당신의 뜻을 밝혀주시고 이스라엘 자손에게 그 장한 일을 알리셨다.
8.   야훼께서는 자비하시고 은혜로우시며 화를 참으시고 사랑이 넘치신다.
9.   끝까지 따지지 아니하시고 앙심을 오래 품지 않으신다.
10.   우리 죄를 그대로 묻지 않으시고 우리의 잘못을 그대로 갚지 않으신다.
 
    11.   높기가 땅과 하늘에 비길 수 있고, 경외하는 자에게는 그 사랑 그지없으시다.
12.   동에서 서가 먼 것처럼 우리의 죄를 멀리 치우시고
13.   아비가 자식을 어여삐 여기듯이 야훼께서는 당신 경외하는 자를 어여삐 여기시니
14.   우리의 됨됨이를 알고 계시며 우리가 한낱 티끌임을 아시기 때문이다.
15.   인생은 풀과 같은 것, 들에 핀 꽃처럼 한번 피었다가도    
    16.   스치는 바람결에도 이내 사라져 그 있던 자리조차 알 수 없는 것,
17.   그러나 야훼의 사랑은 당신을 경외하는 자에게 처음부터 영원히 한결같고 그의 정의는 후손 대대에 미치리라.
18.   당신과 맺은 계약을 지키고 주신 법령을 잊지 않고 따르는 자에게 미치리라.
19.   야훼께서는 하늘에 옥좌를 차리시고 온 누리를 다스리신다.
20.   그의 모든 천사들아, 야훼를 찬미하여라. 그 말씀의 일꾼인 능력자들아, 그의 말씀 익히 들어라.    
    21.   그의 모든 군대들아, 그 뜻을 받들어 모시는 신하들아, 야훼를 찬미하여라.
22.   너희 모든 피조물들아, 그가 다스리는 모든 곳에서 야훼를 찬미하여라. 내 영혼아, 야훼를 찬미하여라.

1.   Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2.   Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-
3.   who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
4.   who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
5.   who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
 
    6.   The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
7.   He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:
8.   The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
9.   He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10.   he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.    
    11.   For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
12.   as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13.   As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14.   for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
15.   As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field;
 
    16.   the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
17.   But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children-
18.   with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
19.   The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
20.   Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.    
    21.   Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.
22.   Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
