The sun shines on the main temple after rising over the Mt. Tohamsan

향기로 피어오르는 천년 꿈
The thousand year long dream has been turned into a spreading fragrance 
after jumping up the stone steps under the Dabotap Pagoda at a breath

[누리장]*1 이파리에 이슬이 청아하다
The dews on the leaves of the Harlequin glory bower are pure and clear

Ttoleenuun bomzong soree bobmuun daatko cheemmuukanee
떨리는 범종 소리 법문 닫고 침묵하니
The trembling sound of a temple bell has become silent when the entrance gate was closed

Chonnyon saewol gaanuun soree odeeyaedo obguunaa
천년 세월 가는 소리 어디에도 없구나
So the sound that lasts for a thousand years is nowhere to be heard

아! 어디에도 없구나
O nowhere to be heard

Golyongpo haan zaaraak suucheenuun soreeyae suumaaksae sosuuraacheego 
[곤룡포]*2 한 자락 스치는 소리에 [수막새]*3 소스라치고
When the roofend tiles are surprised by the brushing sound of the king’s robe

Gobgae peen daanchong aarae naatdaaree noguul duut noguul duut uutnuundae
곱게 핀 단청 아래 낮달이 녹을 듯 녹을 듯 웃는데
And the daytime moon under the graceful colors of the temple is smiling very gently,

Huuruudon guuruum haan zom eelzuumuunae momuundaa
흐르던 구름 한 점 [일주문]*4에 머문다
The floating cloud stops over the entrance gate of the temple

Aa! kyoro ssaaeen gheewaatzaang gyotae
아! 켜로 쌓인 기왓장 곁에
Eekee daewo nuubko sheepdaa 
이끼 되어 눕고 싶다

多宝塔の下の石段を一気に駆け上って

향기로 피어오르는 천년 꿈
香気と立ち上がる千年の夢

[누리장]*1 이파리에 이슬이 청아하다
クサギの葉っぱに露が澄んでいる

떨리는 범종 소리 법문 닫고 침묵하니
震える梵鐘の音、法門を閉めて沈黙する

천년 세월 가는 소리 어디에도 없구나
千年の月日のたつ音はどこにもないな

[곤룡포]*2 한 자락 스치는 소리에 [수막새]*3 소스라치고
竜袍の裾をかすめる音に軒丸瓦がびっくりして

곱게 핀 단청 아래 낮달이 녹을 듯 녹을 듯 웃는데
きれいに咲いた丹青の下で、 昼の月が溶けるように、 溶けるように笑うんだけど

흐르던 구름 한 점 [일주문]*4에 머문다
流れていた一点の雲が一柱門にとどまる

아! 켜로 쌓인 기왓장 곁에
ア！ 積み重なった瓦屋根のそばに

이끼 되어 눕고 싶다
