論語: 雍也 06-13;

子謂子夏曰。女爲君子儒。無爲小人儒。

자위자하왈. 여위군자유. 무위소인유.

子谓子夏曰：“女为君子儒，无为小人儒。”

 

飜譯 by sjc;

孔子가 子夏를 불러 말했다。너는 君子다운 儒生이 되어라。(따라서) 小人같은 儒生이 되지 말아라。

 

英譯;

The Master said to Zi Xia, "Do you be a scholar after the style of the superior man, and not after that of the mean man."
