今週分 노래를 紹介합니다.

[Dumbarton's drums]

이 노래는 Scotland 民謠로서 Scotland 出身인 Jean Redpath(1937~2014)가 불렀습니다. 이 歌手의 唱法은 귀에 거슬리는 高音의 連續이 아니라 이야기를 하듯 부르는 것인데 듣다 보면 Scotland가 남의 나라가 아닌 自身의 故鄕이 된 듯한 錯覺에 빠질 程度입니다. 한편,歌詞는 사랑 이야기로 되어 있지만 이제는 더 以上 獨立國인 아닌 옛 Scotland王國에 對한 鄕愁가 녹아 있읍니다. 參考로 말씀 드리면 PMC가 開設된 첫날 2017.08.01에 보내드린 노래도 이 歌手가 부른 Leaving the land였읍니다. 參考로 말씀드리면 歌詞는 guitar伴奏에 맞춰 부른 노래에 對한 것으로서 2個 映像中 아랫 것입니다.
