9. 어느 날 밤 바울로는 거기에서 신비로운 영상을 보았다. 마케도니아 사람 하나가 바울로 앞에 서서 "마케도니아로 건너와서 우리를 도와주십시오." 하고 간청하였던 것이다. 
9. During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, "Come over to Macedonia and help us."

10. 바울로가 그 영상을 보고 난 뒤에 우리는 곧 마케도니아로 떠날 채비를 서둘렀다. 마케도니아 사람들에게 복음을 전하게 하시려고 하느님께서 우리를 부르신 것이라고 믿었기 때문이다.
After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
