I have heard of a land

나는 어떤 ‘곳(or 땅)’을 들었네

          

Where the sun is always shining

太陽이 늘 빛나는 ‘곳(or 땅)’을

      

And I know I can go there someday

또 나는 언젠가 그곳에 갈 수 있다는 것을 아네

God has taught us in His word

하느님께서 그분 말씀으로 우리에게 가르쳐 주셨네 

        

Bow thy head and you'll be heard

그대의 머리를 숙이면 그대 목소리가 들려지리라

       

I will go for His teaching I'll obey

나는 그분의 가르침을 따라가고 順從하리라

There are many who've taken the wrong way

이 世上에는 잘못된 길로 가는 많은 사람들이 있으나

  

But it's still not too late to go

옳은 길로 가기에 아직도 늦지 않았네

   

As for me I've made my plan

나는 내 人生 計劃을 짰네

       

I will see this promised land

나는 이 ‘約束의 땅(or 天堂)’을 보리라

네 머리를 숙여라, 祈禱하면서 머리를 숙이고 나를 따르라

In this land I am told

나는 들었네 이 땅에서는  

      

All the streets are paved with gold

모든 거리가 金으로 鋪裝(포장)되었고

           

And you're free, free from all your earthly cares

그대는 地上의 모든 근심거리에서 ‘解放되는 것을(or 自由로워지는 것을)’

There's no evil kings to fear

(그곳에는) 두려워할 邪惡한 王들이 없다네

         

Just one kingdom all can share

오직 우리 모두가 共有하는 王國만이 있을 뿐

      

Jesus died on the cross to make it so

예수님께서 그렇게 하시려고 十字架에서 돌아가셨네

There are many who've taken the wrong way

이 世上에는 잘못된 길로 가는 많은 사람들이 있으나

  

But it's still not too late to go

옳은 길로 가기에 아직도 늦지 않았네

Take the Savior's outstretched hand

救世主님께서 내미신 팔을 잡으면

He will lead you to that land
