나는 다시는 絶對로 ‘깨지지 않는 가슴을 갖게 되리라(or 슬퍼하지 않으리라)’

I remember standing at my daddy's bedside

And the tears filled up the wrinkles on his face

내가 아빠의 寢臺 곁에 서 있던 것과 눈물이 아빠 얼굴 

위의 주름들 사이에 가득 차 있었던 것을 나는 記憶하네  

As I held his withered hand, he smiled and whispered

내가 아빠의 衰弱(쇠약)해진 손을 잡았을 때, 

아빠가 웃으시며 속삭이셨네

Son, I'm going to live in a better place

아들아, 나는 (이제 곧) 더 좋은 곳에서 살게 되고 

And I'll have eyes that will never fill with teardrops

‘눈물방울들로 絶對로 채워지지 않는 두 눈을 가지게 될꺼란다

 

I'll have legs that will never ache with pain

苦痛으로 絶對로 쑤시는 일이 없는 두 다리를 가지게 될꺼란다

I'll have hands that will never age and wither

絶對로 老化되지 않고 衰弱(쇠약)해지지 않는 두 손을 가지게 되고

And a heart that will never break again.

다시는 絶對로 ‘깨지지 않는 가슴을 갖게 되리라(or 슬퍼하지 않으리라)’

I have often heard and read about that city

나는 자주 그 都市를 듣고 읽어 보았네

Where with Jesus, we shall live forever more

예수님과 함께 우리가 永遠히 살게 될 그 都市를

There a mansion’s in construction for my dwelling

그곳에는 내가 살게 될 邸宅이 建設되고 있고

And the streets of gold will run by my front door.

黃金 거리들이 내 집 앞門까지 이어지리라

And all the eyes of the blind will then be open

그리고 소경들의 눈들이 그때 떠지리라

And they’ll join the victory march with the lame

그리고 그들은 다리를 저는 사람들과 함께 勝利의 行進을 하리라

And the deaf who’s never heard the roar of thunder 

그리고 천둥 소리를 들어본 적이 없던 聽覺障碍人은

will rejoice to hear the Savior call his name
