Would He devote that sacred head

十字架(십자가)에서, 내가 처음 빛을 보았고 내 마음의 (돌덩이 같은) 짐이 굴려가 치워진 十字架에서

It was there by faith I received my sight,
믿음으로써 바로 그곳에서 나는 내 視力(시력)을 얻었고

And now I am happy all the day!
나는 온終日(종일) 幸福(행복)하네!

Was it for crimes that I had done
